I was just thinking about our advantages and limitations comparing to Romania Enduro tours companies and generally riding Enduro in Romania. Actually, I think about that all the time 🙂

I carefully watch over the lot of Enduro Tours companies in Romania, Bulgaria and Greece by following them on Facebook, Instagram, visiting their web pages etc.

And what I’ve noticed…

Main conclusion is that Romania sells Enduro services by the key word – Romania 🙂 because they’ve been operating on that market since ‘90s… Some of the companies still have the photos in their galleries with very old bikes… That’s of course serious argument. And the main one.

Second is Sibiu and that’s the killer argument. Sibiu is just amazing old city with everything you might need besides Enduro in Romania..

Our guests have never complained about the night life and of course, they all liked it, but at the first sight by surfing through Google and watching what offers Sibiu and what can you expect from Tara, we lose that round 🙂 Not to forget the fact that the easiest way to come to ride with buddies sometimes is to take your wife with you 🙂 And the easiest way to make your wife happy while you’re off for riding and spending money on it, is to arrange her shopping. Sibiu +100, Tara -100 🙂 Yes, this advantage can cause spending more money at after-ride time which makes this kind of relatively expensive entertainment even more expensive 🙂

Now we spread our riding geography to nearby Zlatibor mountain which has far more nightlife and places for riders wife 🙂

Third fact considers the Enduro riding geography in Romania, which is just huge of course. From one hand, no doubt that’s advantage. From the other, riding domain in Enduro terms, usually covers the surface with diameter of about 20-25 km max if you ride it from one place every day.

So, the size here doesn’t matter 🙂 These bikes are some kind of sport equipment and stuff for entertainment not transport vehicles for touring or traveling.

Yes, you might think that Round Trip Enduro tours demand a huge and wild territory, but again, we face the fact that for good and interesting riding you can’t do more than 80-100 km per day, with, for example, 4 day tour. Moreover the good tracks are traced the way they should be accessible by 4×4 and not to far from inhabited places…

So, this “size advantage” is questionable because you can’t cover more then 70-100 km of hard Enduro tracks a day. That’s area within a radius of 15 km from your accommodation.

Ten days ago the load of 4 new KTM EXC TPI bikes arrived. To say that I was happy is to say nothing 🙂

It took some time to unpack them from wooden cage, mount front wheel and fender, change muffler, head light, hand protection.

Then the “first time” start process with all those interfaces, pump checking and other things that I didn’t know nothing about 🙂

About 5 hours for completing 4 bikes and one hour more to load and wrap them on a trailer. Then 200km to our base.

Few things more for first ride and photos (of course) – changing the front sprocket and air filter adaptor. Both came in kit.

First ride on them and first ride this season as well. Slippery and snowy but sunny with lot of friends of ATV.

We ordered all the protection necessary for 2019 season and now the next load of 3 bikes is about to arrive.

The next stage of bike preparing will be filmed and we’ll keep you informed.

Freezing and snowy February makes me stay at home and do some things like planning, calculating, exploring new Enduro tracks and places on Google Earth, negotiating on new accommodations..

Searching through my galleries I selected few shots with happy faces and just look at them 🙂 That’s how happiness looks like!

As for the news, new EXC TPI bikes are about to arrive, protection equipment list is ready, booking process goes well so far 🙂

Was thinking about writing something useful and clever, but nothing came 🙂

And I decided that I’ll fix the “2019 To Do” list here, without preparations, just like that and come back to it at some CP 🙂

So, here it is:

• finally confess that THIS is my real MISSION and NO WAY BACK
• spend twice more time working on it
• purchase and prepare 6 NEW 2019 bikes till the end of the March 2019
• purchase new bigger van
• spend at least 100 moto hours only on exploring new tracks on our new Enduro destination – mountain Zlatibor
• shoot a megamovie from our Round Trip adventures scheduled for 2019
• Shoot megamovie from our Hard Tours in May
• Implement booking system here
• Start with Road Trip tours on BMWs

On the one hand this could not be considered as a one and only job, but could as Mission and Dream Job, and on the other, it just takes so much time that I’ll be forced to do better marketing and spread the nubmer of services that are “moto” and that are “adventure”.

So wish me luck, and stay tuned, not just because all this is so interesting, but more because it could be pretty useful for those who are still in doubt about something and think that they won’t have enough dedication and strength.

You can’t even imagine how far from perfect I was when I first dreamed about it 🙂

4 just amazing days with Ellies and Dorian 🙂 Great MX riders were dead after few hours in woods 🙂 They accepted my appologizes for not prepared track high in the mountains 🙂 I appreciated the way they were listenning to me and learning fast, so the last 2 days were just having a really good fun. Guys was amazed with what they saw in our mountains and prommised to come again in 2019.

Actually, we finished main route more then month ago, but there were few places where alternative had to be found. So, few days ago, Dusan and me started from Tornik (Zlatibor mountain) and followed GPX that I had drawn before.

I thought that there should be some safe place for going through Uvac near the Dubrava Monastery, so after 2 hours we reached that place which as I had considered should be the one. But unfortunately, absolutely no way to ride that place. From the other hand, occasionally, we found just spectacular place from which huge canyon and surrounding cliffs were on a full view.

So, from that point, we used Google Earth and locals to find the way around. And that ocassional ride, without existing gps track happened to be one of the best rides in our life.

There are no words to express my thankfulness to God and everything that made my life go this way.

This ride was kind of crossroads where I had a last opportunity to turn and left all this beauty unseen by someone whose life has to be changed.

We connected few more places with hard and lite connections again.

First we draw em in Google Earth roughly, then check em in Mountains. Most interesting part is when we explore hard connections and we do it together usually.

And I can fairly say that this’ll be most exciting and most epic Tour in Europe 🙂 Belive me, no places like this can be ridden freely elsewhere in Europe.
